god the hug at the end of Come What May was more powerful than any kiss would have been, because Kurt reaches out for him. He reaches out in a vulnerable, broken way for comfort and a familiar place to be. He made himself smaller, bending in on himself, lower his head to rest on Blaine’s shoulder. I can just imagine that Kurt does this when he - needs Blaine. Is heartbroken, or just needs someone to hold him. To be held. After his rejection to NYADA, when Burt told him about his cancer, when he had a hard time a school - he would probably lean down and rest his head on Blaine’s shoulder, arms around his waist and just breathing in his scent. Just Blaine’s presence probably calmed him down and that, above all things, is probably what Kurt wants most: those arms to hold him and tell him it’s okay to be confused - it’s okay to want Blaine but at the same time, want to be over him. Those small touches said so much.
